The following tests were carried out on May 31st 2005 at TRAD Stockport site on the new design of (TRAD DECK) a lightweight working access and safety platform (see also report August 24th 2004 for tests already passed). All tests carried on May 31st 2005 were passed for the new header\foot\Retainer.
TESTS
2. Roof non-fragility test in accordance with ACR (M) 001:2000 test for fragility of roofing assemblies.
2a. On the panel (carried out on 19 August 2004)
2b. On the assembled platform
2c. On the bridging panels for sections where a half panel will not fit.
3. Calculate the load capacity of a leg
4. Test the assembled frame for load carrying and buckling of the legs.
4a. Legs offset from the vertical
5. Destruction test to find weakest component
